Spring has sprung and it’s time to get my patio and flower beds in order. I love to drink coffee on my back patio so I wanted to make it feel relaxing. I’ve got some great Better Homes & Gardens items to share for this project! TAP the photos to shop or head to my LTK PAGE where everything is linked.
Let’s start from the beginning and talk about my gazebo because it’s been such an awesome one. We purchased our BH&G gazebo 2 years ago so we could have some shade on a budget. It was more affordable than any other metal roof gazebo I found. I have the 8×8 but I’d definitely recommend the 10×10 for a little extra room. It’s really held up well and no, it’s no anchored to anything.
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with my BH&G egg chair. It’s big enough for me and Kiwi with ease. I actually like to cuddle up in it sideways and lay. It’s weather proof and the cushions are super comfy. This is probably my favorite purchase of last year.
I did add some new pillows from Walmart and a rug to tie in the black. The rug is a 5×7 which is perfect and those tassels are real cute right??? I’m going to link a bunch of NEW BH&G patio rugs for y’all because I loved a bunch of them.
Walmart is seriously the best place for outdoor decor because they have the best prices and the quality is wonderful. They have lanterns with frameless candles included for less than the price I’ve seen anywhere. I got the medium and large size in these cute wooden ones.
They also seem to have the best pots and plant stands. I reuse them again and again each year and just keep adding to my collection. Linked a bunch that I own or want to own one day haha. Cute pots are an easy way to update your patio!
Let’s talk plants! My favorite thing ever. I love agaves and aloes because you can split apart the babies that grown on the sides of them and start an entirely new plant. I’ve done this many times and these guys are such hardy plants that you really can neglect them and they still live. 😂
The tall one is a sable palm that I love so much and he’s pretty hard to kill. Going on 3 years and I have two of them. They survived the freezes we’ve had too. Small spikey plants are Agaves.
I redid the flowerbed because I got rid of my old pond. I spent about $50 total to fix it up and added two Spanish Lavender, two Gardenia’s, and four bundles of Marigolds. 😂 Gardenia’s smell amazing and have pretty white blooms and grow quick. Spanish Lav smells fabulous but I know nothing about so I put it in pots in case I need to move them. It also said they need good drainage. In the back I have old Mexican Heather that’s been planted in my yard for years. I trimmed back the dead stuff and I promise It will perk up.
The plant in the pot in the middle is some random agave I’ve had for ever too. In fact it lived an entire year with almost no dirt in that pot. They’re very easy and bloom pretty orange flower stems.
I’ll also link my favorite patio lights from Walmart and my solar lights. I have many of the BH&G spot lights. I use them to light up the yard for the dogs at night and up light plants. They have a color changing mode!
I’m loving these new farmhouse solar lights I found. Cute for walkways, in pots, or gardens. I bet they’d be really cute on a fence too! Got these in store. SO bright!
