Wife on a Dime

Cozy Walmart Living Room

For Valentines Day, we typically like to stay in, order take out, and watch a movie. Instead of spending a ton of money at a fancy restaurant or on an outfit I’d never wear again, I decided to spruce up the living room! TAP any photo below to shop the items I used.

Better Homes & Gardens just released a TON of extremely cute patio furniture and y’all know I can’t resist a good durable chair! I love using outdoor chairs inside because they hold up so much better than indoor furniture. I ordered the Willow Sage wicker cuddle chair because it matches our BH&G eggchairs and it came with an ottoman!

Isn’t she gorgeous?! I knew I needed it as soon as I saw it. Love the detail on the sides because it matches the 4 piece Lilah set I order for the porch at our new house.

Once we move it will either go on our back porch or in the game room but for now, it’s perfect for additional seating in the living room! You will not find a chair of this quality for this price anywhere! Just another reason to love Walmart. 😃

I added some cute throw pillows to the couch and chair to spice things up a bit. They work for so many seasons too. The yellow pillow with the tassels even has a down insert and is reversible.

Fave BH&G tray is this huge mirrored one because any lamp fits in it. The lamp was actually a $15 Walmart clearance find that I DIY’d and added a cute shade to. There’s a reel on my feed explaining how I made it and you can do this to any lamp!

The flowers are actually faux because they feel and look real and even have fake water in the bottom. Heart shadow box might be an in store only item because I couldn’t find it online.

I found the prettiest Modern bowl in the garden section and thought I’d make it a moss bowl since I’ve been seeing them ALL over Instagram. All I did was stuff the bow with Plastic bags and stuffed the moss under the edges of the bowl. You don’t even need glue. Took me 5 minutes to make. 👍🏼

Moss was also in the garden section and I only needed one bag. They had lots of cute pots and planters you could do this project with. You can also grab one from the kitchen section.

Be sure to follow me on the LTK app where I’ve linked all these items and subscribe to this blog before you go! I share a BH&G post each month with a new affordable project. 🤗

Special thanks to BH&G and Walmart for sponsoring this post! Leave any questions below for me!
