I’ve been wanting to make a reading nook in my office for quite a while and the Better Homes & Gardens papasan chair is perfect for it. Not only is it huge to cuddle up in but it’s cute and affordable. It comes in 4 colors but I figured the light grey worked well and the material is smooth and easy to clean. I almost got the white but with how much Kiwi likes chairs it wasn’t practical with her black hair. 🐶
Since I wanted to add some color I grabbed the cutest tassel pillow to match my floral throw. The pillow comes in many colors and it’s a great size. I’m loving the rust and warm tones right now. It’s giving me all the 70’s vibes. 🙌🏼 I’m not sure if the throw is available in this print but I’ll link some great options from Walmart.
I added the cube storage organizer because it’s cute and functional. You can add as many of the cubes as needed and they hold so much. This particular one can be vertical or horizontal depending on your space. It’s great to display decor, books, toys, etc.
I’m thinking I’ll get two more cubes for additional storage. Walmart has a ton of cute options. The BH&G cubes I got have handles and are neutral. Similar to the tassel ones I have in my bathroom but the handle goes with my vintage vibe.
I wanted a fun boho lamp but all the ones I found online were over $100. I took a lamp base by BH&G and added a basket I already owned for the shade. There’s a reel of this DIY on my Instagram if you want a visual. All I did was cut a little on the basket and slide it on.
To pull this off, just make sure the hole you cut in your basket is barely large enough to squeeze the lamp through. I didn’t have to use any glue for the basket to stay on.
Lastly I added a hat wall which is such a cute way to store hats. Not to mention it was free since I already had them in my closet. I do plan to paint the cord running from my neon sign the same color as the wall. For now, it will do!
I love how this little corner turned out. We’ve already been snuggling up here and enjoying it. I’ll link everything that’s available on my LIKEtoKNOWit ❤️ Thanks for supporting my blog!
