I’ve partnered with Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart to give my bedroom a much needed refresh! BHG has been my favorite brand for years because of the quality and price point they offer for people like me on a budget. I know y’all feel the same way I do and I really appreciate all the love and feedback regarding this partnership.
I often neglect our bedroom because let’s me honest, no one really goes in there and it’s easy to just shut the door when company comes over. Anyone else guilty of this? With that being said, there’s nothing that makes me feel more refreshed than a clean bedroom.
First thing I looked for was new bedding since this would be the focal point. I considered a few BHG quilts but ultimately ended up with this gorgeous textured striped comforter set. Funny story actually, this is my second time to buy this exact bedding! I had this set a few years ago but on of the dogs ripped a whole in it. #dogmomprobs
Anyway, fast forward to now. I loved that set so much I bought it again! Second time’s a charm right? The price is very affordable compared to other brands I’ve looked at as well as all BHG bedding. I like that it came with 2 shams and was neutral enough to work for any season. It’s the perfect thickness for me and it actually fits in my washer. I have an old school top loader too. I also liked that the black pattern helps tie in our black metal bed frame. Eventually we want to get new furniture but since we plan to move, we will probably wait to do that so we’ll have less items to move.
Throw Pillows are a must for me and really pull everything together. The front pillow was $19.88 and seriously looks a lot more expensive. The other four pillows came in sets of two for only $19.88. 👏🏼 They are a great size and I loved the material and fringe. They also come in a linen shade. I did gray pillows instead of white because our walls are gray(Mindful Gray by Sherwin Williams).
I found the prettiest vase and just knew it would be perfect in here. I came across some faux stems in the floral department at Walmart and couldn’t believe how real they looked. They were all about $2-$3 each and this entire arrangement was only about $15. Not to mention, they’ll never die.
Pro tip: always add water to your vase, even if you’re working with fake flowers because it will make them seem more real. 🙌🏼
Better Homes & Gardens has the BEST pots in their outdoor section! I use them in and outside. Can you guess which plant is real and which is fake?? The macrame hanger is new this year and it’s a must have! The white pot that I have my Aloe in comes in a few sizes this year and I love the shape of it.
I like to add a runner or a tray of some kind to my tables to tie in all the items. In the center I have my BHG Red Lava Citrus(fave scent) oil and room spray on top of a mini dough bowl.
I basically fell over when I found this beauty at my local Walmart y’all! 🤤 It’s definitely my new fave and it’s gorgeous in the day and night. I love the gold and modern glass. Best part: The new BHG warmers have 2hr, 4hr, or 8hr timers so it will automatically shut off! They make great night lights too. 💡 I keep my wax melts in the little box underneath the warmer.
My clock was under $20 and is actually and outdoor item but the metal frame seemed perfect for our bedroom. I love repurposing things so I used the tribal bathroom trash can as a pot for my little Fiddle Leaf tree. I found the metal stand at Walmart too and used it to give my tree some height. That’s my favorite trick for making small trees seem bigger.
Dough bowl, orb, runner, and candle holder are all BHG too. Can you believe that huge dough bowl was under $20?!? 🤩
